Salai Bawi Lian Mang
Salai Bawi Lian Mang is the founder and Executive Director of Chin Human Rights Organization, and is a recipient of the NGO Leadership and Excellence Awards at world Marketing Summit 2013. A participant of the Rangoon University student uprising of 1988 in Burma, he was one of the founding members of Chin resistant movements CNF following the military crackdown on prodemocracy activists that year. In 1995 Bawi Lian founded the Chin Human Rights Organization (CHRO) on the India-Burma border to document human rights abuses perpetrated against his fellow ethnic Chin people by the Burmese military regime. With its Headquarters in Berkeley, California, CHRO is Federally incorporated in the United States with United Nations Economics and Social Council’s Special Consultative Status. Over the past two decades, the work of CHRO under his leadership has kept the international community informed about the situation of Chin Christians in Burma. Salai Bawi Lian Mang has lobbied the United Nations General Assembly, the UN Security Council, and testified before the US Congressional hearings on human rights and democracy in Burma. He met with several world leaders including the US Secretary of State and two Prime Ministers of Australia, Foreign ministers. Salai Bawi Lian Mang was one of the lead negotiators on behalf of the Chins during the CNF and Burmese Government peace negotiations from 2012 to 2021. He studied at University of California at Berkeley (Graduate School of Journalism 2003-2004) Carleton University in Ottawa (Political Science 1998-2002), and Rangoon Arts and Science University (1986-88).

U Kyaw Zaw is a senior management executive with extensive leadership experience across global and regional organizations such as the world’s largest commercial real estate organization “CBRE”; service excellence with proven strengths in leadership, problem solving, financial acumen, and achieving results. He is an active community leader in various organization across North America over time, including Board Member, Free Myanmar Inc., USA, Spokesperson, Canadian Campaign for Free Burma, Founding President of the Canadian Burma Ethnic Nationalities Organization, Coordinator and Spokesperson, Burma Ethnic Nationalities Network-Canada, President, Burmese Buddhist Association of Ontario, Canada, Finance Committee Member, March of Dimes, Awarded “The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal” in 2012 from the Governor General of Canada for outstanding service to the community and contribution to the country.

Aung Kyi Nyunt
The Honorable U Aung Kyi Nyunt, MP was elected from No 6 Constituency of Magway Region, House of Nationalities in 2020 general election and currently he has been taking the charge of Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) as the chairman. In the 2nd term of Hluttaw (2016-2020), he served as a member of Bill Committee, Amyotha Hluttaw (House of Nationalities), a member of Public Bill Committee, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (Union Assembly), the chairman of Agricultural, Livestock and Fishery Committee, Amyotha Hluttaw (House of Nationalities), and vice-chairman of the Joint Coordinating Committee for Capacity Development of Hluttaws, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (Union Assembly).
In the 1st term of Hluttaw ( 2012 to 2015), he served as member of Bill Committee, Amyotha Hluttaw, a Member of Bill Committee, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, a member of Appeal and Complaint Committee, Amyotha Hluttaw, and the secretary of the Enhancement of the Interest of Peasants Committee, Amyotha Hluttaw. He was also elected by the people of Chaungson District, Mon State in the 1990 General Election. He is doing his best for development of his constituency in the sectors of education, health, accessing the electricity, transportation, agriculture and livestock with the coordination of stakeholders.

She is actively engaging in providing quality of education through building libraries and one-on-one mentorship and consultation for urban poor and marginalised rural communities. She is known for Empowerment Personified for Women & Youth via Education; Mentor & Rising Star; TEDx Speaker & Community Change Maker.
